Here is a step-by-step guide to show you how to apply your nails like a pro.
Step 1: Prep is the holy grail
The most important step to make your press-ons last. Start off with dry hands and nails - try not to wash you hands right before application.
Push back your cuticles, and give your nails a buff (in one direction, not back and forth) with the nails file. The drier the nails = the better.
Remove any oils with the alcohol wipes & make sure not to touch your nails after. We've included one per hand. Make sure to go around the edges and corners, queen.
Step 2: Pick your perfect fit
Match each press-on to your natural nail. If it’s slightly too big, file it down on the sides — custom > compromise. Our nails are numbered so you will know your size for future applications.
Step 3: Sticky tabs or glue? You choose your vibe.
Sticky tabs = short-term fling (perfect for weekends, events, or commitment issues)
Glue = long-term relationship (we’re talking 2 weeks of flawless wear)
Step 4: Apply + press
Line the press on up with your cuticle, press down firmly in 45 degree angle to remove any air bubbles, and hold for 30 seconds. It's important to press down around the edges to avoid early lifting. No air bubbles, no drama.
Step 5: Don’t rush the magic
Avoid water or heavy use for at least an hour. Let them set—good things take a minute. Pro tip: Apply before bed so they cure overnight = maximum hold, zero regrets.
Step 6: Shape the moment
File, adjust, admire. You can even cut them down if they're too long for your liking. You’re officially that girl.
